What is BD Touch?

BD Touch is BD-J technology that enables communication between a Blu-ray disc and a Wi-Fi mobile device like the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Easy Implementation and Connection

BD Touch is easy to implement onto a BD-J Blu-ray title.
The BD Touch API allows for easy integration with any BD-J enabled Blu-ray Disc authored with Sony Blu-print or Sonic Scenarist.  BD Touch is built into DoStudio so there is no extra BD-J work to do at all!

BD Touch can be embedded into a Blu-ray player.
The BD Touch CE Device API  for easy integration with the BD-J stack embedded in a Blu-ray player.  BD Touch-enabled Blu-ray players enable BD Touch features on all Blu-ray discs, whether or not the disc includes BD-J.  Integrating BD Touch on a Blu-ray Player also enables Web 2.0 type features that work independently of any discs.

Requirements

BD Touch requires a BD-Live (Profile 2.0) Blu-ray Player, a wireless router on the network, a wi-fi enabled device with the free BD Touch app installed!  Please see our FAQ for a list of compatible Blu-ray Disc players.
