Tutorial #4: Import your Menu as a layered PSD

The DoStudio demo project includes a layered PSD file ready for importing into DoStudio. The PSD contains all of the menu graphics for the demo project. The first two tutorials in this section are informational rather than step-by-step instructions. The first tutorial describes the basic menu concepts that you need to be familiar with in order to successfully author Blu-ray pop-up menus in DoStudio. Don’t skip this section! It’s important to read this and understand it.

The second tutorial describes the naming convention for setting up your layered PSD.

In the third tutorial you get to import the PSD using DoStudio’s built-in Photoshop import tool called Mosaic. As you’ll see, the import process is quite simple when your PSD is set up properly.

These tutorials are intended to get you familiar with the import process and walk you through the steps of importing the included demo project PSD. These tutorials do not describe every feature of Mosaic. Please refer to the DoStudio help document (Chapter 2: Section 6) for additional information about Mosaic.
