• Applying Vertical Remote Control navigation automatically

1. If your Chapters submenu is still visible in the Layout Preview window, turns its visibility off. Turn the Bonus Videos submenu’s visibility on by clicking the box next to the submenu’s icon in the menu elements tree. The Bonus menu will appear in the Layout Preview window.
2. Right Click on the set “Bonus Set” and select “Apply Vertical Navigation” from the context menu.
3. Expand the menu elements view for the button “MM Bonus” in the Main Menu to display the five remote control events. Click the Enter Key event to display the Action Editor window in the Control Panel.
4. Right-click in the Action Editor window to display the actions list. Select Menu Actions > Menu Actions > Show Submenu Block.
5. Choose the Bonus submenu from the “Submenu Block Name” pulldown list.
6. Choose “Bonus Set” from the “Set Name” pulldown list.
7. Choose the button called “BonusAlaska” from the Button Focus pulldown list.
8. Expand the menu elements view for the button “BonusVirginia” in the Bonus submenu to display the five remote control events. Click the Down arrow event to display the Action Editor window in the Control Panel.
9. Right-click in the Action Editor window to display the Actions List. Select Menu Actions > Menu Actions > Hide Submenu block
10. Set the “Submenu Block Name” property to “Bonus Submenu” using the pulldown list. This tells DoStudio which submenu you want to hide.
11. Set the Focus Button property to “MM Bonus” using the pulldown list. This sets the navigation highlight back to the MM Bonus button on the Main Menu.
12. Click the button “BonusVirginia” in the menu elements window to display its properties in the Control Panel. Click the Remote Control Tab in the control panel to display the remote control navigation settings for the button.
13. Clear the setting for the Down Button by selecting the blank setting at the top of the pulldown list.
